This notice describes how the personal data of users who visit this site and contact Rosalmar B&B to request information or availability are processed, pursuant to Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Italian Legislative Decree 196/2003, as amended.

What data we process

We process the personal data you voluntarily provide when you contact us, in particular:

• contact details (name, phone number, email address) that you send us via WhatsApp, phone or email;
• information about the stay (check-in/check-out dates, number of guests, any special requests);
• the content of the communications you send us.

The «Check availability» form on this site does not send or store data on our servers: it only pre-fills a message on WhatsApp, which you send through your own application. Data transmitted in this way is also subject to the WhatsApp/Meta privacy notice.

If you consent to analytics cookies, we also process statistical data about browsing on the website through Google Analytics 4, such as visited pages, browsing events, technical device information and approximate geographic data.

Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to requests and managing bookings — legal basis: performance of pre-contractual measures and of the contract at the data subject's request (art. 6.1.b GDPR).
• Legal obligations (tax, accounting and public security authority reporting obligations for accommodated guests) — legal basis: legal obligation (art. 6.1.c GDPR).
• Site security and operation (technical logs of the hosting provider) — legal basis: legitimate interest (art. 6.1.f GDPR).
• Statistical measurement with Google Analytics 4 — legal basis: consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), expressed through the cookie banner. Consent may be denied by closing or rejecting the banner; in that case Analytics is not loaded.

Data recipients

Data may be processed, for the respective purposes, by the following parties:

• Vercel Inc. — website hosting provider (technical logs);
• Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. — when you contact us through WhatsApp;
• Google Ireland Ltd. — for the Google Maps map embedded on the page and, only after consent, for Google Analytics 4;
• consultants, accountants and service providers acting as processors;
• competent authorities, where required by law.

Some of these parties may process data outside the European Union: in that case, the transfer takes place on the basis of appropriate safeguards (e.g. standard contractual clauses of the European Commission).

Data retention

Contact details and communications are retained for the time needed to respond to the request and manage any stay. Documents with tax and accounting relevance are retained for the periods required by law (normally 10 years). After those periods, data is deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

As a data subject, you may exercise the rights provided for by arts. 15-22 of the GDPR: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection to processing. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (www.garanteprivacy.it).
